The PB Planning Group is chartered with upholding the Pacific Beach Community Plan .
The Pacific Beach Community Plan is the City of San Diego’s adopted statement of policy for growth and development of the Pacific Beach planning area over the next decade.
We strongly recommend that anyone presenting projects to the Planning Group read and adhere to this plan, as it is what we use to judge the acceptability of projects.
The plan is a conceptual “blueprint” for how we wish to evolve Pacific Beach while still preserving natural resources, especially the unique relationship that exists between Pacific Beach and its primary natural resource–the Pacific Ocean and Mission Bay.
